What is a STATE MATE

This is how you can buy your products.

SOHO has a Mate in every STATE

This is where you should find your best prices but you are not limited to buying from your local authorized dealer. If you want to buy from any retailer nationwide you can do so. Please just inform them of the product and if they don't already stock the product they should contact the authorized dealer in their state to purchase from.

You can still buy through the SHOP page and we will arrange for your local dealer to receive the order, and give you the customer service you deserve.

WE BACK INDEPENDANT MUSIC STORES

How did we get here?

After spending decades making products for musicians and selling to venues and institutioans around the world. It took our Founder Glenn Chapman to visit his children's' school and realize how unhelpful and unserviced the education headphone market is.

So after a bit of time in the design process we created an ''all-in-one'' solution for teachers and students world wide.

SHARE EDphones across multiple classrooms

This can be a great way to save money resources while still providing students with the necessary tools for learning together.

They have arrived - i've picked out a pair or two and they look really good. I like how well they are packaged, and the build quality is high, as the same as the sample set sent before ordering. In use, they are providing exactly what I need to being able to supply sound from both keyboard and computer without having to switch any sockets around, which is great in saving time and resource wear and tear.

Richard Cull, Hedingham School

I have just received a fantastic product from Soho Sound Company. I bought the SOHO Audio Link – Dual Jack wired headphones for the keyboards in our music department at school. They look good, feel good and more importantly sound good. Love the fact that the children are now able to use the keyboards together with total ease! Will definitely return to Soho Sound Company for any future needs.

Music Teacher and Music coordinator Barlborough Hall School

Excellent product. Will be buying more. Units are sturdy and look like they’ll outlive other more expensive options. Headphone cable is a sensible length and there are the obvious benefits of not having to use any mini jack or 1/4 inch stereo adapters

Alastair Hodgson

Director of Music, Notre Dame School

I purchased these headphones as they solved two ongoing issues that we had in our music department. Firstly, these headphones are practical for both computer-based sessions and keyboard sessions without the need for additional adapters, due to having both jack inputs. Secondly it has removed the need for us to purchase splitters, which was an ongoing cost for the department. For our puposes, it is 3 products, rolled into one.

LOUGHBOROUGH Schools Music

Headphones arrived yesterday. School bursary have asked me to check them today - all as ordered and working. They sound great, and I'm looking forward to seeing how our pupils like them. Seems a very good idea, which will enable pupils to keep a pair permanently plugged in, while the teacher moves around the room and join in!

John Pennington, The Kings School, Gloucester

We bought these headphones because they looked significantly more durable than our previous set, and with much more useful connectivity too. 6 months on, both are evidently true and, more importantly, we haven’t had any earpads fall off! Any music teacher will know what a ringing endorsement that is…

Sebastian Johns | Director of Music

Eltham College

We bought these headphones due to their durability and ease of use in a classroom setting including transferability between different devices without the need for additional splitters/connectors. Joe even came to school to give me a demo of the product before purchasing and I feel sure they are the headphones every Music teacher has been waiting for!

Mr Jonathan Turner

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC, New Hall School

Having taught music in schools for many years I am always on the search for headphones that are rigorous, practical and withstand heavy use. Joe Ward has produced headphones that meet all of my practical needs by creative a product that is robust, and thanks to the ingenious incorporation of big and small jack inputs, and the ability to couple headphones for listening purposes (both teacher and student), removed the need for additional splitter cables. This product makes sense and it works.

Tony  Coupe - Director of Music, Ellesmere College

Please could I order another 20 of these headphones – we are enjoying using them!

Tony Henwood

Director of Music, Latymer Upper School

Having used the headphones for over a week now, the simple design allows multiple students to connect to one device easily seamlessly. They are well built, the cables feel solid and the best part is they completely negate the need for splitters, saving both time and money. Brilliant product and recommended highly for school and music institutes.

James Thompson

Music Technician

Saint Cecilia's Church of England School

'These headphones have been a fantastic addition to the music classroom. The two different inputs mean I don't need to worry about splitters or pupils having the wrong headphone type. Being able to easily link to a pupil's pair of headphones also makes it easy for teachers to give individual feedback without disrupting the class. I would recommend these headphones to any music teacher.'

Tim Newberry

Director of Music

Colfe’s School

We chose these headphones for the flexibility of using them in a busy department where they are used with desktop PCs, pupils’ laptops and keyboards, and the need to be able to adapt to those needs at a moment’s notice. The pass-through connection that allows you to daisy-chain them is incredibly useful for teaching composition and for paired work.
